The guardian headline says the Israelis were investigating the incident. That's true and accurate. They haven't published the result of the investigation which I assume they probably won't. Why people keep linking to that cartoon from Edler of Zyon is beyond me. The cartoon provides no credible evidence of anything, it's a fucking cartoon!
Why not simply link to a credible news organization?
IDF: No proof Palestinian woman died from tear gas at protest

I see nothing in the way of an acknowledgement of an alternative narrative to "death by Zionist tear gas" other than in Israeli media.

You need to use a google news search: [Link: www.google.com...]

The results are being reported by UPI, ynet, afp, H'aretz, Jerusalem post, Why post a stupid and meaningless cartoon instead of a credible news report? For viewers who aren't aware of the situation will see the cartoon and not know what it's supposed to mean.

re: #3 Killgore Trout

Every news link refers to "Israeli doubts" and is not a factual report on the event itself. Also, the link I provided is a blog entry, with hyperlinks to other news reports, not simply a cartoon.

Here's how it's done.....

War of stones – the settlers' version

(Video) After claiming Sunday's violent clash with Palestinians was tendentiously edited in B'Tselem video, Itzhar settlers present their own footage showing Palestinian cameraman hurling stones – while filming event

Credible news organization, video and pics at link.

But it's not the NY Times. You should link to this on the big page. Most links are to the "tear gas" death. Here's another Pallywood production.

Okay , okay -- I will source more judiciously in future O_o
I was avoiding linking to a source (unnamed) which I don't care for, so this one was third down the list.

Here is the NYTimes version:

Israeli Military Officials Challenge Account of Palestinian Woman’s Death

Which you know, does mention honor killings, discusses her past health and gets a response from her family to the Israeli military officials comments. You know, normal anti-semitic propaganda.
